How the season runs
The NFL's weekly rhythm is what makes pick'em work: sixteen or so games, one deadline, everybody in at once. Picks lock at the first kick-off of the week by default, or per game if your circle would rather let people pick Sunday morning after the injury report. Thursday Night Football, the Sunday slate, Sunday Night and Monday Night all score the same way, and the playoffs carry straight through to the Super Bowl without anybody resetting the league.

Share the invite link in the group chat. Holding the link is the invitation — everyone who opens it is in the league immediately, with no approval queue for you to babysit.
Everyone picks the week's games and flags a Lock. Results score themselves as games finish, the standings move in real time, and the arguing takes care of itself.

Not yet. pickplay.bet runs weekly straight pick'em, with a Lock of the Week for double points and head-to-head Battles on top. If your group specifically wants survivor (one team a week, no repeats, one loss and you are out) or a confidence pool (ranking every game by how sure you are), those formats are not built yet — we would rather say so than pretend.
Your circle decides. The default locks every pick at the first kick-off of the week, which keeps everyone on the same information. The alternative locks each game individually at its own kick-off, so somebody who forgets Thursday night can still pick the Sunday slate. A dot-matrix countdown on the picks page shows exactly how long is left either way.
Yes. pickplay.bet is free with no subscription, no credit card, no in-app purchases and no ads. There is no paid tier holding features back — private circles, automatic scoring, head-to-head Battles and the full leaderboard are what everyone gets.
Not on pickplay.bet. Every pick is scored in virtual points that have no monetary value and cannot be bought, sold or cashed out. Nothing is wagered, won or lost, so there is no prize pool to administer and no money to collect from anyone.
Up to 20 members in a friends circle — a deliberate cap, because pick'em is funnier when you know everyone on the leaderboard — and up to 300 in a company circle, the option for office pools. Either way, anyone holding your invite link joins immediately rather than waiting for approval.
